According to YR, All women are weak pathetic alcoholic baby hungry crazy scheming needy rapist liars; where is the female empowerment?

I have become very dismayed by the Young and the Restless and it breaks my heart. This show use to be the best show on daytime television, what has happened??

Where are the strong women, that’s what I like to know?

Sharon Newman

Where do I begin… I mean do the writers hate Sharon Case or something? Because it seems that they are intended on making her Genoa City’s bicycle. Literally almost every male in town has had a ride on the Sharon bicycle… Yuk Yuk and disgusting!!!  She slept with her daughter’s kidnapper… And this thing with Victor…. Vomit Inducing!!!! They need to do better with this character; she has been sacrificed more than any of them. I thought we were to see a stronger Sharon….Well, let me tell you, if they think this is strong, they need to check the dictionary for the meaning. No need I’ll do it for you:

Definition of STRONG. 1: having or marked by great physical power. 2: having moral or intellectual power. 3: having great resources (as of wealth or talent)

Use it writers… It will do you a whole lot of good!!!

Phyllis Summers Newman

I have no words to describe the disgust I have had for this character. The things Phyllis has done over the last year has left a bad taste in my mouth for the character. The way she went after Lucy was disgusting!!!! Teaming up with Daisy, her son’s rapist, almost made me call it quits with her. And why does she not ever pay for anything she has done? There are consequences for everything a person does, whether it’s good or bad, but all her actions seem to have been washed clean. It’s sickening and all it does is make me hate her and that’s something I don’t like.  And guess what. She’s pregnant… She snatches Lucy in the most despicable way possible and gets rewarded with a baby. Daniel has seemly forgiven her. Billy gave her job back after snatching his kid.   Victoria has forgiven her…. Again.. Why?? Nothing ever sticks with her…GMAB!!! NO Words. It’s time for some much needed karma to bite Red on the behind before I can root for her again… just sayin!

Victoria Newman Abbott

  I love this new found vulnerability.  However, I may like the vulnerability but sometimes it’s a bit much. Victoria has always been strong. Where is the female that kissed Michael Baldwin in front of Lauren upon her return? Where is the savvy business woman that has been able to go toe to toe with any male on the show, even her father? Where is the female that fired Sharon upon learning she kissed Brad? Where is that fiery female that went head to head with Billy after he played a part in destroying her marriage to JT? True going after Billy led to a great love story, but at what cost? Did they have to make her weak to make the romance work??? I think not… The way I see it, they reduced Victoria down to someone who needs a man to fight her battles and that’s something that she hasn’t ever needed. I mean it’s like she can’t do anything without Billy. It sucks; she can’t even set up a Skype with her son? Or fly Reed in for a visit? Billy has to do it? WTH is that about?  She has been reduced to being a baby crazy woman, needing a man to fight her battles, being nice to her husband’s rapist, all because she’s baby crazy.  If this was pre-baby crazy Victoria, after getting John, she would have confronted Chelsea and kicked her rapist behind!!!  Let me tell you what I want… I want my fiery Victoria Back!!!!!! Please bring her back because I miss her terribly!!!

Nikki Newman

Though they have made her stronger by leaving Victor, the fact that she ran straight into Jack’s arms, spells needy and pathetic… Jack and Nikki could have been great if only they could have slowed it down a bit. They didn’t take the time to develop a relationship before having her jump into bed Jack. Why couldn’t she and Jack just held each other after the break-up? There is nothing like watching to hurting people console each other without sex! That would have been really sweet and more realistic.

Lily Ashby

We don’t see enough of this character to even make a proper assumption.  What does she do besides being Cane’s wife or the twin’s mother? Why do they insist on not giving her something to do? This is Drucilla’s daughter, where is her spunk?

Chloe Fisher

 What has happened to Chloe, where is my fashionista that I loved to hate. I mean I just loved to hate this chick, but now, I just hate her. She’s another one that has been weakened beyond repair.

Abby Newman

Again, though childish as the “The Naked Heiress” was, she was different and I appreciated her difference.  They conformed her to being afraid of Victor.  When Abby stated, “No, I’m not going to up against dad again,” Girl what has happened to you? What has happened to the girl that dared to be different?  I want her back!!!!

Yolanda/Harmony

The ex-crackhead that almost lost her sobriety over a kiss she had with Neil, to a full out affair with a drunk Tucker.. Can you see the hypocrisy in this? How does this make any sense? Help me to understand!!!

Sofia Winters

She came in a strong business woman, who challenged Katherine Chancellor.  To losing her self-respect by staying with a man that obviously doesn’t give a crap about her. To Settling for a loveless marriage. That’s a darn shame… Mercy!!!

Jill, Gloria, and Genevieve…

Are the town Jokes, comedic reliefs, they deserve better. Don’t have much to say about these three because I can’t take them seriously.

Chelsea, Avery, Daisy, Eden,  and Anita

Again, what are their purposes? They are the five most useless females on the show.  That is all!!

Where are my strong females?? Where have they gone? Why do MAB and Crew continue to destroy our females? It’s ridiculous!!!

You know as of right now.. I’m just pissed..pissed at everything!!!

Pissed at Victor Newman for being a self serving jackass! Pissed at the crap he’s pulled over the last year! Pissed that he caused his daughter miscarriage and not once showed sorrow! Pissed he keeps trying to run his grown daughter love life which I think has become borderline psychotic! Not counting keeping a sick kid from her father, most of all pissed he wants to marry his daughter-in-law! I guess if he can’t control Victoria, Sharon is the next best thing…Which brings me to Sharon..

Pissed at Sharon for being stupid enough to go along with this sham of a marriage with Victor!!!! Pissed because she faked her death leaving her kids to believe she was dead and let them mourn all the while screwing Sam. Pissed because she slept with her baby napper!!!! Pissed because I just plain out don’t like her!!! 

Pissed at Phyllis even though I like the character, but I need a break and I never thought I would say that. Phyllis is starting to get on my nerves…She never once showed remorse for taking Lucy..not once!!!!! For once I would like for her to be sorry!!!!  Pissed because she took Nick back and I like Phyllis and Nick!!!! Pissed because she’s obsessed with Sharon…Pissed because She’s everywhere!!!! Damn!!!

 Pissed at Billy for being a damn coward and leaving like a little bitch, putting him and Victoria in this situation! Pissed because Billy and Victoria are the best couple on this show but I gotta sit through BABY MOMMA DRAMA!!! Pissed because he hired Phyllis back..Damn man she took your daughter!!!!

Pissed at Nick for being a manwhore and sleeping with Phyllis sister and then being a total jackass! Pissed he is used his daughter to get back at Sharon!!!

Pissed at Michael for being Victor’s Bitch!!!!


Pissed at all these damn new people that are getting on my nerves!!! I’m talking Ricky creepy ass, Chelsea skanky ass, Angelina annoying ass, Angelo for being an ass.. GAWD!!!!! Thank Goodness Deacon will be gone soon!!! Pissed that its not sooner!!!!
